“ Nice spot with good food. First off this place is kept really clean. The food is good. It's good quality ingredients prepared well. Not a lot of flare, just traditional fried and griddled seafood. “ If you like seafood eat here. There are SO many options you are sure to find something you like. I rarely post on a first visit but I am not likely to return to Edna any time soon. I almost didn't come here because I didn't think the posted pictures were very appealing. But against my judgement I came and I must say I enjoyed my visit. I ordered the lunch special of grilled flounder with came with dirty rice and staemed veggies. You also get a choice of salad or coleslaw. I like to try different coleslaws and found this one to be drowning in mayo. I posted my own photos that show the spices in which the fish is grilled. It was almost too salty, but I ate it with lemon and/or coleslaw. The rice has meat in it-ground beef. The veggies were perfectly steamed. I do recommend this restaurant. I came on a cold day at lunchtime. The locals do seem to enjoy this place and for good reason. The servers are friendly and helpful and aren't afraid to make recommendations or confirm with the cook if they don't have an answer as to how something is cooked. ”
